Is the AI a therapist?
No. OnTheBeam provides coaching support — not therapy, not medical advice. The AI coaching companion is supervised by a certified human recovery coach. For clinical care, work with a licensed therapist.
Can my coach see my conversations?
Yes. Your coach can review every conversation between you and the AI. This is by design — it’s how the supervision model works, and it’s how your coach provides better-informed care.
How do I get an account?
OnTheBeam requires an invitation from a certified recovery coach or a treatment program partner. Ask your coach to send you an invite, then register with the same email they used.
Is my data private?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, never sold to advertisers, and only visible to your coach and platform administrators. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
What recovery pathways do you support?
12-Step, SMART Recovery, secular, faith-based, Refuge Recovery, harm reduction — or any blend of them. Your coach selects the pathway that matches how you work.
